Change a Life initiative supports vulnerable individuals most who hail from humble backgrounds and in need of varied support
The initiative focuses on;
- Children under four years residing in prison with their mothers
- Disability mainstreaming in schools
- Other Independent needy cases
The initiative engages in humanitarian communication, highlighting needy cases and finding them needed support
Children under four years residing in prison with their Mothers
Every month, the Change a Life Initiative visits a Women Prison in Kenya to donate basic needs toward the welfare of these children. The items include clothes, beddings, toys, food, diapers, wipes, oil, detergents. The toys are meant to keep them busy during the day when their mothers are executing prison chores or attending court sessions, and some include:-
Disability mainstreaming in schools
The Disability Mainstreaming project targets to transform school environments, making them disability friendly for students who are abled differently. The focus is on primary and secondary schools to ensure improved quality of life for students Living with Disabilities
The project intends to create rumps around school rooms, supportive tools in the bathroom and washrooms, braille machines, wheels chairs among other key items as may be required
Other Independent needy cases.
These include medical cases, education needs, housing among others. The change a life initiative has already supported a couple of such needy cases
